The first international charitable track-and-field athletic run took place in Minsk with the motto " the World without conflicts ". There were several initiators and organizers: Belarussian Fund of Peace, youth organization "Altera" and public association " The World of Family ". Many visitors from Korea, Russia, Armenia, Kazakhstan, Romania and other countries took part in the opening ceremony of the competitions.
    The registration payment was one thousand of Belarussian roubles. Money was intended for rendering assistance to victims of tragedy in Beslan.
    ... It is exactly at half past twelve the start was given. Runners have rushed to overcome ten-kilometer distance. Not all ran to show the high result, many people just simply supported the action and after a while descended from a distance. From those who has remained, twelve women and sixty one man were registered.
    While runners were trying to win, a celebration concert started, in which stars of Belarussian music and beginning singers performed. From time to time the concert was interrupted with the latest news from the distance.
    And finally, the first sportsman has appeared on finish line. His name is Igor Darunin. He has has shown the best result among men - 30 minutes and 50 seconds. The first from women was Svetlana Klimkova - 34 minutes and 17 seconds.
    But not only the three first winners were given prizes. First ten finishing people received prizes.
